2006 Paint the Town Red

Parade of Clowns at 10:00 Saturday morning
The biggest clown gathering from all over the USA joined us in a "Parade of a Thousand Clowns" to pay tribute to one of their own, Red Skelton. This was the kick-off for the First Annual Red Skelton Festival.

The Parade began at the corner of 1st and Hart Streets and traveled approximately 1.5 miles.

Main Street Festival and Tours 12 noon to 5:00pm
The beating drums of the marching bands faded as the last float passed. After the parade of clowns, the crowd stayed downtown for the Main Street Festival! Downtown was filled with art, music, food, flowers and fun for kids.
